2nd day of work....
Want to thank B for the comment first. i think you are the first person sending me proper comment. The NUS guy brought me to the Science Canteen for lunch. The guy only said the western food there is ok when i ask him what is nice there. So he ended up eating chicken rice and i bought Wanton Noodle. Actually i saw quite a few people buying Claypot rice, but i was worried about the waiting time. I only had half an hr for lunch cos we waited 15 min for the stupid NUS shuttle bus. Must try claypot next time. haha. Oh i heard the western food at Business canteen is damn nice too.......... too bad it's closed when i went there yesterday.
Today's work is quite ok, it's less exhausting than yesterday. We only need to write down the type and yr of each box and rearrage on a piece of paper, then assign each of the box a shelf number according to the arrangement of the shelf at IMH where the boxes of documents will be moved to. The difficult part is to move the boxes full of paper around for us to see the title and yr of the boxes and then paste new stickers on specified space of the boxes. Seriously each box is definitely as heavy as if not heavier than 2 packs of 10kg rice. (i know it well cos i am always the one buying rice for mother.)especially when the stupid store people stack up two layers of boxes on the top level of the shelf, it will be even more difficult for us to move the boxes. the whole storeroom is so crammed that i need to twist my body in all kinds of funny position just to put a sticker on the top left corner of each box. oh yes! after getting the experience from yesterday, we all bring singlet, for us to wear while we work. then the supervisor said we need to bring down two trolly from the maintenance room down to the storeroom before it closes at 1700. As we went up to get the trolly, I realised it's a bit funny for a guy to wear singlet with jeans and walk around in the hospital. i think two of us walking together in a hospital like that must look damn gay. I actually saw a nurse looking in our direction from far and start to giggle discreetly. maybe i should have changed first before i went up, but then i need to rush to get the trolly before the maintenance uncle go home. ah.......what the heck, don't think i will go to NUH again lah...........
