Registration for Student Union Camp at NUS

The guy from PowerOne told me to choose between my orientation camp and my work. Of course I will choose the orientation camp lah! I only have this one chance to join something so fun lei. Plus it's not like I cannot find other temp job in the 3 weeks after my camp.

I met many people during the registration of the union camp. I saw two colleagues from Powerone, one friend from ACJC Gym Corp schoolmates and even classmates who told me previously they may not join the union camp. There are so many student councillors, i think the freshie to councillors ratio is about 1 to 3, which is a very big ratio to me. Heard from my friend who joined the engin camp the week before. He said it was fun, but there were just too many guys which is not really a problem for me actually. I don't intend to start a relationship in these four yrs anyway. I just hope the orientation camp is fun lah. This is what i believe to be the last thing i get to enjoy fully before I start school.

Yeah! I think I'm coming close to master the song Cannon. At first I just wanted to learn playing a song with the piano so that I get something to boast about when the chance comes, however i think i have developed a passion for playing piano already. I've been trying to learn the song "Somewhere in time" now, I must master the Jacky Cheung song "爱是永恒" in future. haha. I will definitely update my blog should I reach the milestone.

I consider myself to be reasonably mature in analysing situation, but still I have been changing my mind quite a few times when it comes to making decisions recently. Many things that people said and things that happened are having a great influence in the decisions i've made. Somehow I start to believe fate. I think fate has been kind to me. For quite a few times I've made some rash, extreme decisions and something will just happen to me and change my mind. It helps me get a bigger picture of the whole situation and make more balanced decisions. Haha, I should consider myself lucky.

Working sucks!!

I was overjoyed when the agency guy called me to work, but now i'm having completely opposite feelings for work. Work literally sucks up all yr time and energy, especially when there is OT. You simply have no energy to catch even yr most favourite TV programme or meeting yr friends after work. Frankly speaking the work is not that tough, but it's tedious and boring indeed. Always repeating the same few procedures makes me feel like a robot. However there are some plus pts to the job. Time passes pretty fast there because I will be in a subconscious state soon after I start work. I start to regain consciousness only when lunch time and knock off time approach. I met quite a few nice friends who will be going to NUS/NTU like me. Kelvin, Aldrid, Zhi Wei, Ben and a few guys from SA JC who happened to be the classmates of my police buddy Benedict. Haha, Singapore is really small.

I will be having 2 days off since the materials for work have not arrived yet. planned a tennis session at paul's place. really looking forward to it......
